Our Sea Ruffle Oval Bowl is made of ceramic with a moss green glaze covering its exterior and pits in the surface. The result is a decorative bowl that feels as if it has been reclaimed from the deep sea. All ruffles on this bowl are done by hand using the painstaking pinch method by a group of women artisans who live at the border of Burma and Thailand.. With the pinched vertical ribs and the incredible texture the patina on our ceramic Sea Ruffle Oval Bowl are simply stunning. These exquisite bowls are for indoor use and will create a wonderful ocean ambience in the living areas of the home. Works of art on their own, but also beautiful filled with fruit or decorative objects. Perfect for the Beach home, but will be admired anywhere.
