Glasgow Urn

The Glasgow Urn has a classic profile that is our most popular urn shape. The Glasgow Urn will fit in both traditional and modern settings alike. Standing 2 feet tall this urn is a substantial vessel. It has a traditional rim and a dart design bowl at the bottom of the urn body which rests on a round foot on a square base. It is entirely constructed in metal iron and is extremely durable. With a classic profile and standing either on square pedestal base or on its own, the Glasgow Urn will bring an understated, but, captivating element to your entrance or in a garden setting

Meticulously hand cast in iron metal with a hand applied finish. Suitable for Indoor / Outdoor use.

While iron is durable, proper winter care is recommended for all iron planters. If a planter is to be left planted over the winter, ensure proper drainage by placing a layer of appropriate drainage material in the bottom of the container, making sure the drainage holes are not blocked. If the planter remains in contact with the ground surface over the winter, the freeze-thaw cycles may cause If you wish to retain the finish as purchased, we recommend applying a commercially available clear sealer to preserve the finish.

The Glasgow Urn is available in two finishes; Lead finish and Matte Black. Because colors as shown in photographs may not exactly represent true color depending on lighting conditions and viewing device color calibration, the actual finish made vary slightly from its appearance in the photographs.
