Our Bacchae Grape Festival Urn celebrates the ancient grape harvest. The urn's shape is a classic Attic Volute Krater design with all the touches including the two handles. The Bacchae (or Maenads) are portrayed as inspired by Dionysus (the God of wine and revelry) in a state of ecstatic frenzy through a combination of dancing and intoxication. The sculptures surround the urn's body and are accented by ornate classical designs on the neck and above the fillet (between the body and the square base also called the foot). This urn is the perfect piece for the wine cellar or the wine lover's veranda. Install on a veranda table or affix to a garden wall outside or anywhere indoors.

This distinctive urn is meticulously hand cast and hand finished patina in extremely durable marine grade freeze proof fiberglass. UV protected and colors will not fade. Strong, reinforced fiberglass but quite light weight. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
