This pedestal was modeled after the spiral pedestals from the later Roman period (or Byzantium) that became a regular column type in churches during that period. This pedestal is a great fit for many of our urns and sculpture. The pedestal is over 2 and 1/3 feet tall and will make a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor entrance foyer and when matched with one of our urns. This distinctive pedestal is hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in bonded marble and stone composite. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
