Hand cast and finished in the USA in a high fired glazed terracotta. This fountain is available in the four glazes as shown above. All glazes are hand applied and may vary making each piece unique. Ideally we suggest that terra cotta birdbath/fountain tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water/snow and freezes, the top may crack. All birdbath/fountain bases should be raised up off the ground in winter so they will not freeze to the ground surface. Ideally in the freezing winter outside, cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. 14.25" Dia x 8" H | ||||||||||||||||

The Scandia Large Fountains with their rich patinas are attractive fountains that will add music to the ambiance of your patio, veranda or indoor garden setting. They are also perfect for tabletop in the kitchen or near seating arrangement. The fountains are available in a beautiful glazed Seafoam glaze, a Cream glaze, a subtle Peat glaze and a bright Metalic glaze; all four are simply stunning. While small this fountain is distinguished by its splendid form and clean lines and there is no plumbing necessary as the fountain is self circulating. Includes pump and tubing required to properly connect.
