Our Hercules Bust is an outstanding copy of the famous ancient Farnese Hercules Statue discovered in Rome in the 16th century. Our version is almost 2 feet in height and will lend any space the gravitas of the classical world. The original statue is simply one of the ancient world's greatest sculpts and our version is a faithful reproduction that is perfect to be displayed in a study, living room or outside on a veranda or porch side table or console. Place on a pedestal for display in the foyer or as the centerpiece of a vignette in the garden.
This distinctive sculpture is hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in extremely durable fiberstone. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface to give the appearance of aged stone. Reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains lighter and less fragile than concrete. Guaranteed outdoor durability.

The Farnese Hercules is an ancient sculpture, probably an enlarged copy made in the early third century AD by Glykon of an original of Lysippos or one of his circle, of the fourth century BC., made for the Baths of Caracalla in Rome (dedicated in 216 AD), where it was recovered in 1546. Read more.
