Florentine Piazza Lion Wall Fountain by Donatello

Part of the HenFeathers collection of wall fountains, This is a Grand Wall Fountain, the Florentine Piazza Lion Wall Fountain is a renaissance classic with all the Italian renaissance motifs, This fountain is straight from a Florentine piazza. Scallop shell and scroll work emblazons the top of the backsplash overlooking a lion's head. The lion's head is an adaptation of a sculpture by the great sculptor Donatello. The large basin is rimmed with ball and dart ornamentation. This wall fountain is rather sizable at over three feet in height. Place on a wall on a deck, a terrace, courtyard, or indoors in the conservatory, foyer or sunroom, add the soothing tranquil sound of water, close your eyes and you will imagine yourself a renaissance noble.

This distinctive fountain is meticulously hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in extremely durable fiberstone. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface to give the appearance of aged stone. Reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains lighter and less fragile than concrete. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
