The Classic Venus on Shell Fountain is a beautiful classic fountain that transforms any space into an ancient center courtyard and adds the tranquility of water into a home, courtyard, piazza, patio, garden setting or entrance drive. Standing over 4 feet tall, the fountain features an exquisitely sculpted Venus slightly bent pouring water (or wine) from a water jug held in her graceful arms. (the fountainhead). She stands on a pedestal within the clamshell basin. Truely, this fountain will be the focal point of any setting within she stands.

Venus was a major Roman goddess principally associated with love, beauty and fertility, who played a key role in many Roman religious festivals and myths. This distinctive fountain is hand cast and hand finished in our USA foundry in extremely durable fiberstone. Fiberstone is a mixture of sand and stones cast into the surface to give the appearance of aged stone. Reinforced with a fiberglass backing, it remains lighter and less fragile than concrete. Guaranteed outdoor durability.
