Capitol Hill Urn

The Capitol Hill Urn is a large estate urn planter with a vase shaped bowl. The bowl has a has a very clean design with a simple squared off rim around the top. The bowl rests on a very short pedestal that flares down to a square base. This urn, because of its understated classic design, will make a statement in traditional and modern settings alike. With its 38" diameter bowl this is a very substantial planter perfect for the veranda or a garden setting, The urn is suitable for tall green shrubs, ivies, and other florals, but, it is also outstanding unplanted. When paired with its matching Rustic 16.5" Pedestal or the Shelbourne Pedestal (sold separately below) the Capitol Hill Urn is an impressive, yet understated architectural feature that can serve as the centerpiece of an entrance drive, garden niche, veranda or entrance foyer. Two urn and pedestals flanking an entrance or defining the corners or edges of a veranda would make an even more impressive statement.

Rustic Pedestals

The Rustic Pedestals are the matching bases for the Capitol Hill Urn, but are also a great fit for many of our other urns and planters. The Rustic pedestal is available in two sizes; a 12" high version and a 16.5" high version.The taller pedestal when matched with the Capitol Hill Urn is total height is an impressive 45" (almost 4 feet), making the pair a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor entrance foyer. It is also quite substantial and sturdy and once placed will be very stable. The pedestals are equipped with a square drainage hole.

The pedestal is meticulously hand cast in high-density cast stone with a hand finished patina. Use with the Capitol Hill Urn or with many of our other urns. Shelbourne Pedestal

The Shelbourne Pedestal is a matching base for the Capitol Hill Urn (and, of course, the Shelbourne Urn), but is also a great fit for many of our other urns and planters. The pedestal is over 17" tall and when matched with the Capitol Hill Urn the total height is 45.5" (almost 4 feet), making the pair a commanding focal point to a garden niche, patio, entrance drive or an indoor entrance foyer. It is also quite substantial and sturdy and once placed will be very stable. The pedestal is equipped with a 6.5" hole for drainage.
