Bourbon Rectangular Faux Bois Planter

Inspired by nature, Faux Bois (faux wood) is an art form that began in France over 175 years ago, a tradition of creating furniture from iron and concrete with the look of real wood. The flowing twig-like details along the ribbed surface of the Bourbon Rectangular Faux Bois Planter were hand-applied by artisans who “sculpt” the concrete over a metal frame to look like a rustic faux bois artifact. The Portland finish that settles into the natural crevices enhances the illusion of age that will bring a nice hint of texture to indoor or outdoor settings. Ornamented with tree branches, the concrete planter sprouting with plants will fool the eye into thinking it is a true antique. When introduced into a setting, the whimsical decorative planter will be a classic from day one. The rustic yet transitional style of this organic piece allows it to move seamlessly in both indoor and outdoor designs.

The Bourbon Rectangular Faux Bois Planter has two siblings in the same organic style. The Bourbon Faux Bois Planter is a round pot version of the Rectangular Planter and the Bourbon Petite Faux Bois Planter is a smaller version of pot style planter. All three are gorgeous. The Petite version is small enough to be used table top either indoors or outside.
